PHYSICIAN PROFILE

Dr. David Porudominsky is a board certified General Surgeon and one of a few fellowship trained surgical oncologist in the area. He has been in private practice in this location since 1985. His practice includes breast, thyroid, parathyroid surgery, and abdominal surgery with minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques including gallbladder, stomach, small and large bowel with special interest in cancer surgery including skin malignancies such as melanoma and soft tissue tumors.

He graduated from Cayetano Heredia Medical School in Peru in 1977 and completed a surgical residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook program in 1982, followed by a fellowship in surgical oncology at the City of Hope National Medical Center. He completed his Board Certification in 1985. He has been the Chief of surgery at Northwest Medical Center for many years. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Northwest Medical Center and currently holds the position of Vice Chief of Staff. Dr. Porudominsky does in and outpatient surgeries at Northwest Medical Center, Coral Springs Medical Center, Park Creek Medical Center and University Hospital.
